Cotton Indigo Mossi Throw

$450.00

The Mossi are the largest ethnic group in Burkina Fasso, where they have been cultivating cotton for over 1,000 years. Women spin the cotton by hand and men weave long, thin strips of it which are then used to create the cloths. Traditional motifs are then hand embroidered by women onto the cloths.
